Kokkos User Group Meeting: Opening Session & Kokkos Ecosystem Update

To kick off the 4th edition of the Kokkos User Group meeting, Christian and I co-presented an opening session that looked at the “big picture” of our ecosystem before diving into the technical specifics of the Core library. With the meeting collocated with the HPSF Conference this year, it was a perfect opportunity to showcase how Kokkos is anchoring the broader high-performance software landscape.
In the first half, we provided an Ecosystem Update, focusing on our expanding footprint across international labs and the transition toward a more formal, community-governed model. In the second half, I led the Kokkos Core Update, walking our users through the latest performance optimizations and architectural shifts.
