Delivered during the opening plenary of the inaugural HPSF Conference, this presentation served as a key status update from the Governing Board on the progress achieved since the foundation’s launch one year prior. I joined fellow board members to highlight the growth of our community-driven ecosystem and introduced the technical working groups designed to handle project cross-cutting activities. The talk provided attendees with the necessary roadmap to engage with specific breakout sessions, fostering the collaborative governance essential for long-term software sustainability in the HPC community.
